Cyber Security

The internet is a very important factor in our world today. It connects us and it also is what takes care of our money and our electrical systems. It also is a key factor in the military. They use it to connect to other systems and also to send information to people like the president.

 Just think about this for a moment. Your life and the lives of billions of people could change dramatically by a hacker just pushing a key. They could take over our power grid and shut down the power for as long as they wanted to. They could watch what the military is doing and also find our country's weak spots. They could find a way into the banks system and take millions of dollars. They can do so many things and we need to be prepared to stop them. We can't just sit around and wait for it to happen. We need to act.

Government Surveillance

I think that government surveillance is a good thing because they can track people and see what they are doing. This helps them because then the can see who people are talking to and what they are searching online. It helps the Government predict things that might happen and stop them before they do. It also help them find who did something bad.  

There are over 30 million cameras in the world today. That is 10 for every person in the world. They  use the cameras to find out what people are doing. For example they will use the cameras that were pointing to the end of the finish line in Boston to find out who put the bombs in the trash can. they will also go through all the phone record to find who set it off.

Thinking Big

Data- In today's world there is so many things that are ran by data. There are the common ones like your cell phone and computers. But there is also data is some refrigerators and car stereos. It is also said that if company's use social media and other online sources they will be more ahead in business

Biology- With all the  technological advances we are able to create life faster then nature is able to. we can create a bigger, and stronger animal or plant that is able to withstand more things.

Medicine- Medicine can now be personalised to the patient and give then what they need to get better faster. They can also predict what a person will have in there life. They could tell you that you will have cancer at age forty and then give you certain things to help you not get cancer.

Water- There is only one percent of the water on earth that is accessible and clean to drink and use. There is other ways to get drinking water but that takes a lot of money. They have created ways to reuse water and make it clean, they have figured out how to make ocean water clean to drink.

Tech Read and Write #1- tech

Response- I thought that the video had a lot of good points in it. It addressed how so many people say there are not any job openings but really there  are a ton of opportunities. They are just being sent to other places because we can't fill the spots. Employers would really like to keep the job at their job site but they don't have people to fill them.People really just don't have enough education to do a lot of  the jobs and that is what employers are looking for. They want someone that can work with the machine's and know what they are doing.


Career- I want to go into the electrical field of work. I want to be an electrical engineer or an electrician. I want to do these jobs because I am good with my hands and I can put things together really good. I have listened to stories that my mom has told me about what my grandpa did while he was an electrical engineer and it sound so cool and something that I could do. I also what to do this job because then i wouldn't have to sit at a desk all day.
